I spose I might find some links in various threads if I were that patient 😛 , but I wanted to ask the Canadian bashers in here where is the most reliable, quickest and best priced place to order replacement parts online to be sent to Canadian adresses. Any help appreciated. I was a dumb noob only a month ago, now I am seasoned veteran; having removed, serviced and replaced both front and rear diff's, replaced spur gear, dis an reassbled clutch gear box etc. all in an attempt to find out why my truck wasnt running. Turns out it was part number 86094, the little set screw shaft. :withstupid: A repair not needing the dismantling of anything LOL Oh well now I can rip this sucker apart, spit polish and re-assemble in record time 🙂

Cheers

Yeah local hobby shop has to order in everything, and charges a fair bit more than I could get it online. The next closest hobby store that stocks HPI parts is a city away and so gas there and back is a consideration.

That sucks.

Some great places are:
towerhobbies.com
amainhobbies.com
rcplanet.com
rcboyz.com
ebay.com

OOPS! Forgot your in Canada. Not sure if you have to pay Canada shipping charges on the above sites thoughl

You can also try smfstore.com, I haven't ordered from him since Nick took over from Bruce, But I have yet to hear any negative from anyone about his dealings.

I have been to some of the hobby shops in the GTA. If your near TO your fine, If your further away burlington, hamilton area, there isn't much to choose from. Lots of online sellers ready and willing to ship to canada. Just email some and see what their average turn around time is.

yes great hobbies has thousands of parts and awsome customer service, i use them all the time.. they either carry or will order all the replacement parts for you.. one of the best places i've found here in canada to shop to be honest!!!

Thanks for all the responses people. I have since ordered all the parts I needed online. Turns out I went to the next city from me............stopped in an talked about parts I needed...........the guy was a complete butthole, very condescending.........now I will ALWAYS order parts online. Can't believe this turd has a store that's still up and running............."high Octane Hobbies" in Kelowna BC should be banned at all costs LOL There I have done my bashing LOL The "owner made me feel like I was bothering him......as though he had better stuff to do" My thoughts...........he was soaking peeps for $65 bucks an hour to fix their nitro trucks. Apparantly my parts purchase of $70 was upsetting him off as it took him from the back of the store to the front. He ended up giving me the wrong size spur gear (even though I had my manual book right in front of him showing that it was a Savage X 4.6??) He also sold me two different bearings ...........even though I had the original there and he could see what I needed. Not supporting the local hobby shops when the owner is an butthole. Get it cheaper online and install it yourself...........you will be much happier..............and alot richer 🙂

Same thing happened to me, but the guy wasn't a butthole... The spur gear kept coming up on his parts number book for the Savage X 4.6 as a 49T. When the manual says 47T, but eventually he found the 47T and ordered a dozen or so. He was really nice so I bought 5 from
Him lol.

+1 Neo, since Nick took the wheel, customer service, shipping & anything else you need is still the best your gonna find.
