Well heres the jist of it. Lately (since I changed to the ofna set-up on the t/b) I have been having a problem when the truck shifts to 2nd, it bogs no matter what I do to the needle. The bottom end reacts to the needle adjustments while 2nd gear just bogs.

If I ease on the throttle it wont bog, but if I mash the throttle it bogs everytime?? Any ideas?

I'm wondering if your brake link moves with the throttle link or 'slides through' the ofna slider.

no I mean is the slide opening all the way in tha carb. could be freds issue too a lil brake drag

sinister do you have the ability to make a short vid of the linkage going from full brake to W.O.T. (with the truck not running).

might be easier to diagnose the issue.

if ithis is the case, sounds like you have something binding in the linkage somwhere. Are the sliders tightened down where they will not pivot easily or are they loose enough to pivot as the servo horn moves?

No they move freely. I have examined the throttle linkage with the engine off and it moves freely. I did run the truck without a body and noticed the servo "glitching" at times. But why would it only happen in second gear? Where's the logic??

yea I will shoot a vid as soon as I get home. I did notice that the servo takes the carb to full throttle and then some, causing the linkage to actually bend. Could this be the problem?

Well just to let you guys know I finally figured it out. I set back all the settings to factory and worked from there... What happened was the change in wheel diameter seemed to have affected the tuning. I ended up richening it up and now it runs great. I think I need a new clutch though! Regardless thanks for the help!

the same thing was happening to me but no matter how I tuned it. then I noticed a leak in my fuel tank. I haven’t fixed it yet but I'm hoping that’s it.
