Hey guys I'm at work right now but I think I have a temporary fix for the slop everyone is experiencing. Well I know I shouldn't post anything without a picture but here is what I did. I took the stock rubber Diff cup O-ring (just one for each shock) and put one between the shock and the two plastic spacers. Put your bolt through the shock tower and your all set. just take the bolt out of the shock tower, take out those two black plastic spacers and put the O-ring on the bolt, put the spaceers back on and your good to go. What I noticed was a lot less slop. I did not tighten up the lock nut so much, tightened it up then backed off until I was happy with the play with the shock / pivot ball.

OK I just found out what all of you guys must have already known. Just order the HPI 100961 shock kit for the flux and all problems are solved.

Hey WJC, just replacing the stock Big Bore shock caps with the flux ones solved the problem?

Ya I ordered the shock kit from the flux and it comes with the caps and balls. They fit so nice. You can not use the stock caps / balls that come with you big bores (I tried) so all you need to to is replace the caps and those aluminum pivot balls with the plastic one from the flux and your good to go. By the way you don't need those plastic spacers that are on your Big bores, the plastic pivot balls have a space on there. You will see, any questions give me a shout.

Thanks dude, i'll try this fix +rep

Ya try it out, any questions about it just let me know. By the way whats the + Rep all about. Ive seen Rep all over this site and don't know whats it's all about. Something about points, I never really read through how all this stuff works.
