hey just wondering if these will fit the stock xl rim. said they were made for the narrow rim.

I can't say for sure just by the pic, but stock XL rims are not 40 series.
Do they say they are for the XL rims?

yes the package said moab 40 s xl, but i think the (xl) is in relation to the overall size of the tire, cause there pretty big. i pretty sure there a 7" tire. thought they would look good on the xl truck. the kid at the lhs assured me they would fit, but i said i'd have to talk to ya'll first. one more question is the stock savage x 4.6 a 40 series rim,cause i have a extra set on hand. sorry if this is a repetitive post, i have no idea what I'm doing on tires/rims. only other set i've bought was pre mounted.
there for the 40s xl rim which proline makes. not the stock hpi xl rims. http://www.prolineracing.com/p-306-moab-xl-38-40-series.aspx proline stays strictly made for the xl cheyenne beadlock

yea, figured as much, i had no idea what i was looking at. and the lhs kid had no idea what he was talking about.

Yo geronimo, those tires are made for rock crawling, and for the 40 series beadlock rim.
I Have a set of proline cheyenne wheels with the 40 moab not the xl version, and to be honest I thought they were terrible, no traction on grass or dirt or asphalt, waste of 250 if you ask me well with buying the 23mm hexes and the wheels and tires, nothing but a headache I tell you, about the only thing they are good for is jumping, they are also one of the heaviest tires proline has.
