savage spring questions????

can somebody tell me how the hpi springs are rated softest to firmest by color? also where do the black xl springs fit in?

black and blue i think are the stiffest and red is softest and green is medium.

i don't know where does the black fits but it might be between the red and the green as its rated from purple - light blue - green - red

I believe the Blacks are as stiff as they go. I have a set of light blue and green along with lots of blacks and they are stiffer than either.

According to HPIs part list and my own experience it goes like this:

Red: soft
Green: medium firm
Blue: firm
Black: super firm
Purple: super firm

It seems like purple and black are equal and differ only in color.

ya the purple are the stiffest from what i've read!! i was using the stock black ones switched to the purple and my trucks suspension doesnt sag anymore thats all i know.

Well, that differs from the hpieurope listing where it says red = soft and green = medium:

However, black is definitely firmer than red because I replaced black with red for that reason.
