Hitec Servo Question

Just ordered this servo for my throttle and brake. Is this to much servo, 144oz at 6v. I don't normaly go that hight with the torque but well there it is. Anyway, just wanted to hear what your thoughts were. http://www.hitecrcd.com/servos/show?name=HS-6975HB

That's a nice servo for the Trottle/Brake a bit overkill but will definitely do the job. I guess I can't say much as I run a 5625 for mine.

I'm sorry but what do you mean when you say Tx? Do you mean radio and receiver? I'm using the fatuba 3pm 2.4 Fasst system. Ya I don't know how much servo you really need for the throttle and brake? I kinda thought it would be over kill.

Yep. Tx-transmitter, i have the same. also using my x rtr steering stocker for throttle & brake & it does endo's....

Yes I was looking at that servo. Mine is not that much powerful then yours. Hope I made t he right decision.

well i moved my stock steering servo to my throttle-brakes as well and grabbed a hitec 654mg for my steering and i had to tone the brakes down or it would do endo's but now its fine....

ya you will be fine but will likely have to tone down your brakes a bit thats all!!!
