could any one recommend a braking set-up for my hpi savage x?
(disks+pads)

i have tried countless set-ups now and cost is no longer an issue
JUST WANT SOME BRAKES THAT WORK WELL AND PADS THAT LAST LONGER THAN 10-12 TANKS
PLEASE HELP PEOPLE:duh:

i've read the red fiber disc brakes work really well thats what i have now but haven't installed them yet!! nitronutzz on ebay has them for like $17 dollars

o ok then:duh: i have heard the crazy nut racing makes a nice set of brakes too and the dual red fibre ones posted above are supposed to be good too.

DO YOU KNOW ANYWHERE THAT STOCKS THE CRAZY NUT ONE'S
I KNOW RCHOPUPS.COM SELL THEM BUT NEVER HAVE THEM IN STOCK!!!!!!!!!

THESE ARE WHAT I AM CURRENTLY USING!!!-HAD THEM FITTED AT LOCAL HOBBY SHOP

PADS LASTED 3 TANKS (1 IN RAIN)

THE PADS ARE CARBON GRAPITE NOT CARBON FIBER LIKE IT SAYS= SOOOOOOO FUSTRATING

Contact IRC of that problem .. he has help out customers with this problem .. Better servo will work .. that's what I am looking at !

What throttle/brake servo are you running? It really does help to have one thats quick to move and powerful enough to put enough pressure on the brakes. Also if you have the ofna mod you could try adjusting the sliders so it engages the brakes quicker so you have more stroke length to push the brakes.
