Hey All,

I can't find the old threads relating to this at the moment. Anyone have any links?

How do you guys deal with this? I noticed it on my truck last weekend, nothing major but nearing the end of a tank of fuel there is less and less blue smoke coming from the exhaust ...

Ofna 125cc tank unless you do the header tank or mid tank mod. If you do the mid tank mod go for the new ofna 220cc or 260cc (can't remember).

yes the ofna tank is supposed to help, new era models has the kit were it comes with a mounting bracket as well and looks really nice when installed!! thats what I'm running at the moment!!

I'm just wondering if there is a better way of solving this issue.

I'm no expert here but i'm assuming that the issue is a combination of the shape of the standard tank and the lack of back pressure from the pipe back into the tank?

Would this issue be improved if a pipe providing more back pressure was installed? Maybe a pipe like the Buku would help alleviate this issue?

Looking around at the mods I don't really like the idea of hacking a tank into the mid chassis position nor having another tank hanging off the rear suspension tower ... in any case since I have the IRC shocks installed I don't think there is room for a rear tank anyway.

Jammer,
It seems some people are cursed eith this problem( halph tank lean)

I have never had a problem with this.

There is alot of scianctific analogys of why it happens and what you need to
do.

For an easy possible solution reroute your fuel line. it may help enough that you don't have to do anything else.

also, try tuning from the halph tank mark. give it more fuel.

no new era models has one that goes on the side to!! its in the same spot as stock other then its not sitting on the tvp it sits on its own mounting bracket! this is the one I'm using and it looks and works better then stock!!
