has anybody found any rc thats worth a
...seems to me that any of these distri utors just go for the shelf and not for the bashers like myself. I'm tired of paying 40+ dollars a pair of CVD's when the quality is far below even a 10 year old would frown upon...so if any of you non shelf knows where to find please p.m. me @ [email protected]

please let there be more than 1 non shelf person out there....

Lol,integy isn't bad for rear hubs, a broken RPM a arms but not any stock ones. Most of the Chinese aluminum parts aren't any better than the stock plastic ones in my opinion. I don't think there are any tougher wheels in the stock HPI warlocks or maybe some Arrma wheels.ive broken lthe centers out of two sets of Traxxas wheels and a couple out of a set of aftermarket no names. I have aftermarket tvps and couldn't bend those with a hammer. Stay stock, and Bash on!

thx for the reply, i wish i could even find somebody that wants to sell stock cvds, i'd be their biggest buyer...some of my pile of broken cvds..and my newest addiction(5700 kv brushless)

Maybe just try some heavy duty dog bones and heavy duty outdrive cups on your differentials, I've yet to bend one or pop one out of place or anything.Dang , that's a stack of them ?nice rig 2 I'm running the tork system in my xl, and a cheap mismatched combo in my converted Savage.

It's the original electrical system which is basically Castle Mamba I think.
you wouldn't happen to know of an ESC that would run 14.8v would ya..i haven't been doing rc stuff for a couple of years now(just readdicted myself)

You can try a hobbywing 120a or 150a ESC,they're pretty cheap, I'm running a goolrc brand in one on 14.8, but you need at least a 120 amps for 14.8v

I'm running a blx185 esc in one of them and you can run them anywhere from 3 to 6s.but they're basically a hobbywing 150a.

Hobbywing make awesome electronic kits (motor + esc combos) for 1/8 trucks. I have the basic bitch kit but it runs really well. My next big upgrade will be a better kit, maybe sensored... Their higher end model esc's much like others have a tonne of settings you can adjust. Even via bluetooth nowadays which is cool!

As for CVDs... WHY on earth do you keep putting them back in your truck if they keep breaking ???
Clearly they're not working lol. Plus, have you ever had issues with the stock dogbone setup? All 3 savages I have owned, nitro and flux, have never bent or broken a cup or dogbone. No, she's not a shelf queen either. She spends more of her time at the BMX track and/or chasing little kids away.
