Finally got around to getting remaing parts and time to convert my last single engine savage to flux power.
Most of these parts were spares that wouldn't sell for half and just taking up space. Pulled the a spec lipos out of storage and just did a test hit down the driveway. In a word,,,grunt! Haven't programmed the used mm2 but half trigger on storage voltage generates an arse first endo.
Please suggest any mods or tuning

That looks very clean @madgadget_1, like a lot! Can't wait to see a video of this thing running. :D

Always wanted to try the alza diff conversion. Maybe on the twin tho cus this box has titanium shafts shimmed and dry film lub coated steel gears. I'll do a vid after the holidays it's one of the last g jobs I did before forced retirement.

I know on my flux I dialed down the punch and brakes quite a bit. With it as it was (bought it used), it was so violent off the line it was undrivable and had to be hard on the diffs. I only run 4S on mine and it's an older flux that I think is an old mamba monster ESC. I had the field program card already for my brushless revo and I use it to program both esc's.

If you do xl conversation it will handle so much better or do what you did turn it down or run 4s but 6s is a blast to much fun

I prefer the shorter X chassis. Fits in my rolling hauler bag without taking out the separator for tools and whatnot. 4S is what I run in my ERBE and the same packs fit great in the flux. Even with 4S, they are fast enough and powerful enough for me. I had to dial them back quite a bit as it was to help the drivetrain last.

Took it down the street the other night and got the first road rash on the body. Punch will definitely have to be dialed down. Wheelie bar testing complete.. Light kit test.. I won't bore ya with all the details.
It's a keeper.

Me too. I have a Flux XL and with 6S I could easily do a backflip when I punched it. Unfortunately if you don't get the punch right, you land upside down after doing a 540 degree flip. 4S is much more manageable and plenty fast.
I did strip a dogbone with 6S - I noticed my 4WD was fishtailing like crazy and when I looked closely, the pin had dropped out of the front driveshaft and so only the rear wheels are getting power.
