Just picked up my next project, it's a Team Losi 8ight T 1.0. I'm looking to convert a few things to the newer models that have parts available. Does anyone have experience doing this? How bout ya @francis Labarbara any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks on advance. I'm mostly concerned with suspension arms, knuckles, dog bones, and drive shafts.

Sorry. Mine is the dynamite gas version. The only things I have changed are the motor mounts for a nitro engine which fit right in and gas tank mounts that didn't and I had to drill new holes in the chassis for. I have wondered what I have since there is no 8ight-T version listed for it.

Check the manual & google search the part number for the lower suspension arms or similar part. The results should list the version when the part pops up. The Gas 8ight T isn't that old, I'd be willing to say the parts are the same other than the chassis plate as the 8ight T 3.0.

The Chasis plate is listed as a Gasoline RTR. The other parts are a Mixture of 2.0 and 3.0
Steering Bellcrank Plastics & Servo Saver: 2.0
Steering Rack Set, Short/Long: 8B 2.0
Front Spindle Set: 8B 3.0
Front Suspension Arm Set: 8T 3.0/2.0
Center Dog Bone Set, Front and Rear: 8T 3.0

Dang, sounds like real fun to sort out. I have found that Losi, Team Losi, & Team Losi Racing are all different animals. I guess it's like lawn mowers, Walmart Cubcadet vs. Dealer cubcadet? Anyway it would be nice if all the rc manufacturers would publish a cross reference/compatibility chart for their vehicles.

The thing has been tough and broken nothing in spite of things like a runaway in a parking lot where I hit a curb at high speed and unplugged the battery. It jumped that curb about 5 feet high, crossed another lot and jumped another curb and stopped when it hit a block wall going full speed. It did crack the fuel tank. That was the only damage. I have read that a LRP ZR.32 is not supposed to rev but even with a single speed this is a fast car. It outran my sons Arrma Kraton on 6s. I have a hard time keeping tires on it.

That's Savage tough!!! Now I'm really stoked to get mine up and running?

Update:
Stripped the Truggy completely down, cleaned every thing, replaced broke center diff with a new HD center diff Losb3528 and diff gears Losb3538, replaced old TiNi hinge pins with Lunsford Titanium hinge pins and rear pivot bolts, added E-conversion losa0912. It's coming along, now I'm at a stoping point; What motor & esc combo? I've narrowed it down to Castle Momba monster or Tekin RX8 combo. What do you guys think? Hope to hear from you all, in the mean time enjoy the re-assembly pic's!
