so at first I thought I wasn't getting the full power of my engine cause my tires are slick as fiddlesticks (which may cause a little) but recently I realized that when I give it more gas than 1/4 the it sounds like the tires are doing burnouts but it's not that and it's not getting full power could this be stripped gears? In tranny or differentials or maybe slipper gone bad? Like I'm maybe getting 1/4 the power then it just sounds like stuff it's ripping/tearing/stripping (imagine the sound as tires burning out on asphalt)

only way to know for sure is teardown and inspection... start with the slipper as thats the most likely place for slipping like you are describing to be.....

Cause you know a lrp 32 16-47 should be non stop wheelies and all it sounds like is gears tearing and I'm scared to open tranny or differentials lol

And I just realized I can rotate back wheels with hands and yadayada no gritty so has to be slipper or tranny hope it's slipper

It's been a long time since I held one but pretty sure it should feel as smooth as glass lol

Not sure how to get it out its melted in there...

With mine just running an LRP28 in it, I couldn't gear any higher than 16/49 or when it was in second gear, the slipper would slip. That was with a fully tightened down without backing off 1/4 turn. If it slipped once, then I was done until I took the spur off and roughed up the pad with sand paper. But I couldn't make it through a tank of gas before it would slip. I was trying to run 16/47, but just couldn't do it. The engine had enough torque to pull the gear, but the slipper couldn't hold on.

I ended up replacing the spur with the steel one and tightened it a bit more. Now I run an LRP30 and 18/47 gearing without issue all day long. It's stupid fast and wheelies whenever I want. Pulls them in second pretty frequently when running in grass.

Yea that's how I knew something was wrong when it wasn't popping wheelies and I scratched the inside of my steel spur up already so it should be good once I tighten it down should the spring be completely compressed?

scratched up the inside of the spur??? no reason to do that if you clean the surface the pad will stick down well as it comes out of the package....
I run my slipper locked down and so do most of the guys here, just until the spring is fully compressed, no need to gorilla tighten it or anything.....

Mine was scratched from getting the hold slipper out it melted inside of it (I ran it for 2-3 tanks loose so)
