everything is missing...

I recently bought a savage x for $50.. I went out to play today and noticed I have no front driveshaft. I Have searched and searched and searched for what I need to get one but I'm lost.. There is nothing between the front diff and the trans.. Just a little shaft coming out of the trans and the bearings on the diff side. I have no idea what to order. Cant find a diagram, and I don't want to wiat a week or more and find out I have the wrong parts. Anyone able to point me in the right direction? maybe a diagram or some part # or any help.

Go on HPI's site and look up the savage you have. They have standard parts lists as well as exploded views/ manuals. If you want us to help you out a few pictures would let us see what you have and what you need.

all I could find on there was just pictures of the parts.. Maybe I didn't look hard enough for a diagram.. Ill cjeck it out again
