Hey guys i got back into the savy some more this week cleaning it up and stuff and i blew my SF-2 throttle servo 🙁
One minute i have T/B and the next i didn't LOL, thank god it was in neutral.

I was thinking of the hitec 5625MG for $50 at the LHS I'm running a 6v hump pack so the speed will be 0.14 @ 6v. I have the hitec 5645MG for steering and that's 0.18 @ 6v ..

Will the hitec 5625MG work or do you guys have some thing else i can try and maybe under $70 ..

Here's one for under $70 that's faster than the one you mentioned.

Thanks xtrem
Is there really a bid deal between analog and digital ?

IMO I wouldn't care to much for throttle speed with a heavy truck such as the savage. The Savage needs a medium between the throttle speed and torque. IMO the Savge needs more torque holding power for brakes approx 170 oz/in and a decent speed for your throttle some where between .10-.14 which is good enough. If you have a good radio and receiver i would adjust the response speed and buy digital servos.

Thanks xtrem

there is if you have a digital Tx/Rx.

If you have a analog Tx/Rx and don't plan to upgrade to digital, theres really no point wasting your $$ on digital servos as you wont be able to realize the benefits.

I'm getting the dx3s in about 5 days..
and at the lhs the digital and analog servos are the same price ..

then you just answered your own question 😉

you can program the dig servos with the dig Tx/Rx

That one will be fine. But if you go with the HS-965MG you'll have a faster speed and a little bit more torque. And it's only $10 more than the 5625MG. That would be my suggestion for a good budget T/B servo.

even better 🙂
the HS-965MG it is LOL
Ill sweet talk him down to 65.. Hey when you bring buisness you should get some sort of a deal LOL. My uncle alone has spent 9k in the lhs, he has 3 bajas..
