This is question about fuel filters , they don't come with them but we all add them ....With the tanks stone filters are they needed and if so which to use ?

Thanks family:hpisf:

Well they say you should use them.I stopped using them along time ago, and my mills run tank after tank, for a long time. IMO its up to you. Ive heard of using them just to have a longer Time to flip the truck over.

Same here took them off long ago and never looked back. They are a place that pick up leaks quick, in my opinion. As said above some will say they will add run time when upside down however if the mill is tuned correctly and you're not playing with the throttle it will run quite a while.

Yes ya gatta be careful not to get dirt into your tank or fuel.

i always did till i spoke with robin and heard he never uses them,it just restricts the fuel flow even more..............

Never ran one here either, and I have run the same .15 in my touring car for 7 years LOL. Plus, like has already been said, the tanks do have the stone filter in them. So unless you somehow suck dirt right into your fuel line (between the tank and carb, which would be just about as likely to happen between a fuel filter and a carb) I don't see it being a problem.
