Id get that cheap, burn up those shoes... then go with a aftermarket set up keeping the other parts. Shoot for 14-15 bucks can find that set 19.00 buy it now

+1, i bought this same set up for my picco & saved myself many $$. gave the shoes to a buddie to try.

Boy, thanks alot Bank, just placed my bid. What would be a good after market set?

I'm still on my nova aluminum shoes (about 3 gallons on em) but I'm anxious to try the ones that londoner mentions here VVV

I like Dynamite max life shoes, DYNP5180 I think they are.

I didn't get on very well with the Nova shoes, mine wore out really quick, I know some say shoes last a gallon max but every set of shoes I've used have lasted at least 2 US gallons, my Nova's were shot, down to the springs in just over 3/4 of a gal, my gearing is pretty tall though so I know that didn't help with their life.

They were always slipping and never really hooked up that great.

The Dyna max lifes I think are great, hook up well, I've never noticed any slip, never require de-burring and so far 3 gallons on them they still have some life left, maybe another half gal.
