4s wiring

I have 2 2s packs and want to make a wiring harness that will alow me to run them in paralle to make a 4s pack. How do you do it. I was thinking three plugs 1 to each pack and 1 to the esc but do i run a pos and neg from each pack to the plug for the esc or pos from one pack to neg of other and pos of that pack to plug for esc and neg of other pack to plug for esc? I am thinking the latter but not sure which is paralle which is series?

you will want to run series to make 2 2s packs into a 4s so the pos from one batt to the neg of the other pack. parrallel like dan showed will only up the mah not the pack count

+1,your run time, same voltage as 2s (7.4v).

K so I was right thanks guys figured would save me from buying another battery for the rc18
