i don't know savage. They are cool but I'm not into chrome or shinny. but they are very nice.

I was going to say not too much of a comparison lol you get that just taking off the stock jelly donuts...

yeah i agree on that also. i don't belive that those rims will increase stability.

I used the warlocks for a long time. they are a good rim but the hexs will crack on huge air. I just use 15 buck proline dish. sweet rims, hold up well. I never got the whole alloy rim thing.

i know dish's are the way to go. BUT the looks are horrible. unless i plan on blacking out the truck.IMO.

lol thats a good point. what tires. lookin for another set of good street/dirt tire.

thanks for the advise bank! and u have sweet truck man. very nice. thanks again!

I just put black Tremor wheels and Goliath tires on my XL but haven't tested them. They look awesome but we'll see how they perform. I figure they can't be any worse than the terra-pins. I liked the terra-pins for forward traction on loose ground but they had so much sidewall roll that they didn't like high grip surfaces like pavement. They were also good at absorbing big landings. The new setup did add some weight to the truck, I'll try to update this thread for you after I test them. Don't know if I'll have time today, I've got a lot of studying to do in the next two days.

NICE! Thats the next setup i wanted to try just on the blast rim. granted this is all for my X not XL. so i was thinkin the goliaths might be to much. But i want them for how much wider they are so i can take turns faster. thats why i went with the mashers in the first place. still low profile but not a HUGE tire. Well lemme know how they work out on yur XL considering yur just upgrading to a better tire cause the goliaths are the same hight as the terra pins and 1/2" wider correct?

Yes I would say that is very close. I didn't measure them but looking at them side by side I would say they were a half inch wider than the terr-pins. They seem like they will have a larger contact patch also.

yeah i really think this will be my next set. it will deff jack the truck up a lil but the wider tire and bigger contact will prob weigh that out for the better. Like i said FASTER TURNS!
