here's my next pack. you can get it $5 cheaper if you don't want the upgrade

As an added bonus, for cell types A and SC, you can upgrade your pack for $1.00 per cell upcharge. This means end to end solder, and copper bars where applicable for the lowest resistance. We highly recommend this upgrade to give your custom pack longer charge for longer play time!

its a lot more $$ than the pack you posted but your thread said 'best' not 'cheapest' rockout

so the bigger wire is ok for the savage.? its funny but when i was their thats the exact battery i built just wasent shure it would work. 20.00 is pretty cheep in my book. now to find some one with a good charger. i think i over charged my pack do to the wall charger that don't tell you when its charged i do have a old quick charge but it takes the flat style batteries that don't connect the same is their a adapter i can get so it would work? ill try to get a pic of it.

thanks i will look into that one as well maybe ill get some bonus money and income tax so i can get a few things i need

You took the words out of my mouth.
Great place to get packs from and they will custom build them for you if you want something special. Fast shipping too.

If you are handy with a solder iron I vote to make your own. That way you know exactly what batteries are in it and you know it was made right.

Nothing worse than loosing your savage to a cheep battery pack.

That won't do you a bit of good if your hump back dies when on throtal. That thing won't pull it back plus most people don't even use them with the ofna linkage mod.

careful on this one, its extremely easy to damage a cell with a solder iron. the 'hammer' irons they use to make them barely touch for a millisecond.

my vote would be to spend the $20 or so & have 'cheap' or 'only' make your pack caz their experienced at it & you get some type of warranty.

I think the pros that make the packs use spot welders they don't solder them there is a place called batteries plus by me I went into a few months back and was talking to the guy he said soldering on cells is a no no the tabs should be spot welded for best and strongest possible connection

ok got my battery. and i guess my charger will be waiting on me when i get home, for the mean time here is my super sweet hump..

DC power and you don't need the bars for a RX pack they don't have a high enough draw to even think about needing the bars. If it were a pack for a 10 turn motor that would use them .. .
