How many turns for the 2 speed savage X transmission?

ive got the stock 2 speed transmission on my savage x...currently got 19t cb & 47t sg with losi LOSB7401 claw tires (for snow) and my truck wont shift. i cant tell whether its in first or second it has a real high pitch whining noise to it when running at top speed and its only movin bout 20mph tops. can anyone give good directions for 1: returning the transmission to stock 2: adjusting the shift (approx where anyone thinks i should put it)

You have to back it out I would start with a half a turn and retest. If it doesnt' shift still give it another half a turn and retest. repeat this process till it shifts and than you can fine tune it.

2 1/2" in from flush. Then test.. id honestly do it with the stocker tires.

+2 had the same issue with the bigger tires..

adjust with the stock wheels on and it will make things much easier.
