need help bad!!!

Hey guys
the problem I am having is I have no front wheel drive. I have taken it all apart and can't figure it out. I checked rims,wheels, hubs and pins. Then went to the diff everything is fine, no broken teeth and shimmed properly. I then took apart the diff thinkin it was the gears in it but they are all fine. The only problem I found was the bearing on the outside of the diff cups. All the dog bones are fine, grub screws in place, I even checked the tranny but nothin is broken . My truck is running stong switching through all 3 gears but I don't have front wheel drive. HELP please I am stumped!!!

not every thing is fine or your frount wheels would be working..lol...double check you missed something probebly in the diff.. the frount goes out all the time on the savage, but it could be as simple as a dogbone.. but you need to look it over again..

i missed that one pope! you are exactly right why dident i think of that? it just happend to me last month! lol...

Just take your time start at the begining and work your way to the end checking everything. Take it all apart and put it back together. You will find it. One other thing to check I have rounded out gears in the diff so that the seem to catch and be fine when you turn it by hand but underload they just spun right past each other.

i think pope has you coverd ide put money on sheerd grub screw if teeth are fine in diffs and pinion... or the dog bone sheerd the pins off on one end ..looks like its in there holding still but just a ball with no pins....

yep I put the end that is wrong on the ground so both wheels are in firm contact with the ground and hold it up while giving it gas. where it stops spinning is where the problem is. But in the air it will lie to you.

Did you check the grub screw on the tranny cup or just the diff? I have seen that over looked allot too.
