I'm considering fitting HPI's light weight 32t drive gear #86274, and 29t idler gear #86275 to the transmission in my flux. Anyone know if these will survive 6S brutality? Cheers.

Very much not. In fact, they brought out a HEAVY DUTY hardened drive gear because the stockers were wearing out astonishingly fast.
There are a few places you can shed weight on a Flux, but the drivetrain isn't the place to start...

uh oh... i just bought these for my flux... I thought they would be a good idea... Whare are the hardened ones i should be buying?

This is what hpi say
# 86275 - LIGHT WEIGHT IDLER GEAR 29TOOTH (1M)

SAVAGE/REPLACES 86098 IDLER GEAR 29 TOOTH (1M)/QUICKER ACCELERATION

Light Weight Idler Gear for the middle transmission of the Savage line of trucks. This 29 tooth gear is machined from steel, a thinner profile and lightening holes provide a 38% weight savings over the stock gear. This is a direct replacement part for the stock gear.

Recommended for heavy-duty applications in conjunction with the following parts: 86274 Light Weight Drive Gear 32 Tooth (1M)

So it must be fine for the flux...
