Yeah, you've all been asked over and over, what's the best this and what's the best that??? All I'm asking is what to look out for on an original Savage 25. I know the 4.6 and 5.9 versions are more powerful but is the 3.5 an okay or even decent mill? Are there things that should be taken care of before running for the first time? I've loctite'd all metal to metal screws, went through the diffs and transmission, and pretty much a once over. I'm asking the pro's here!

The diffs and the stock wheel hubs were always a weak point for me on my old 25's. The engine isn't a powerhouse but they always ran good for me! A pair of new diffs with aluminum housings and maybe a better pipe for that engine and it should be a nice ride!

EDIT: I always swapped the left handed threaded axles out for right hand thread axles.
