have'nt seen any decent videos yet of the xl so me and my brothers made one of mine :p Ill let you guess which landing I stretched my tie rod on (1:33) :duh: Enjoy!

nice!!!, what temps are you running at? I cant get mine to wheelie, and I think I just need to tune it some more. any tips on tuning this mil????
 
temps are bouncing between 230-240F running 30% odonnell fuel. Nothing special on the tune, more or less just want the manual said with some of the optional lsn tweaking aswell. Glad you all like the video so much gonna be making another one shortly.
 
Java how did you do the onboard off to the side? I had been drawing up ideas on how I was going to do it. But I don't have a camera that can have on of those external lens's hooked up. I was hoping to do it first because I hadn't seen it done before on rc cars. Great job.

I got to watch it one time and now it says that the video has been removed?

the onboard shot was just a digital camera, anything heavier doesnt really sit to well on the suspension. Its more or less a rod tie wrapped to where the top pins to the truck, and then the camera is just tie wrapped to the rod. Not too sufisticated hehe.

The program is adobe premier.

Also the video was updated using a different codec to make it more clear.

yep i have to admit that is one awsome vid!!! most entertaining i've seen in a while!! some reps for posting it!!
 
i have a crappy short vid of one but the vid was cut short because the battery died so give me a little bit i need to find my camera charger, so ya i have one lol
 
working on another video but hit a bit of a wall when I stripped one of the dif gears in the rear. Should be filming again this upcoming weekend and should have another fun video to watch by then :) thanks for all the comments! hope you enjoy the next one as much as the first :D

I edited the first page with the link, but like It says this was just a quick one. We plan on doing another one later on after I do some upgrades to the truck just so it doesnt look so much like an HPI xl advertisement. So for now enjoy! and well have another for you all to watch somtime in the furture :)

Awesome .. Did you say what program you are using to edit .. And what are you using to film? I really like the slow mo and need it in my vids .. Please help a clueless pc user
