XL TVPs on Pre-X Savage

I'm not sure if this should go in the "XL" or "Savage" forum but figured if anyone knows this they'd likley be in the XL group.

So I have one of the pre-x savages - a Savage 25 - that I've converted to brushless (4s on Kershaw Direct Drive system, with Revo/E-MAXX center drive shafts) and a few other mods. My use is bashing/wheelieing in the back yard. What I wanted to know is if the XL tvp's are a direct bolt on with this truck?

mostly. u would have to buy the plastic roll bar. the x/xl style tvp doesn't have the holes for the metal one. other than that, they should be a straight bolt on.

however, u are going to have to get xl dogbones.

I believe the engine plate is different too. Longer and thicker. Though this may not matter to you if you are running electric.

Thanks both. Maybe I'll buy a set from eBay since they are pretty cheap if you believe they'll bolt right up.

Since I'm running electric my motor and "tranny" bolt to the tvps. So all I can see I'd need is longer center shafts if my modified revo shafts don't extend enough.
