Won't idle...Seems to not be pulling fuel?

Hey guys i'm fairly new to the savage world but i'm loving it so far. I burned a tank through my savage the other day and shut it off normally, then i switched locations and whe i got there the only way i could start my savage was to have the throttle almost full out. as soon as i let of the throttle it boggs down and dies, it seems like it is not pulling fuel from the tank. i also have a hell of a time trying to prime it now.... any suggestiong?

check your fuel hose for pin holes or cracks also check and make sure your tank isn't getting air

ooooo sounds like a tuning issue as you said you changed locations and you had to give it gas to have it start and then when you let off it dies hmmm sounds like you need to richen the lsn a bit

So after screwing around with it for a while i disassembled the carb and cleaned it all out with some iso and compressed air... and the motor fired up. thanks for the suggestions guys.
