I went from a airtronics mx3a to spectrum dx3. Will my Y harness still work? I can't seem to get it right. My battery charger has a female connector do I just need to change it?

that switch needs 2 males and one female. That's how mine is. female for the battery male for the receiver and male for the charge port.
