Comparing it to the HiTec horn that is supplied with the Savage kits it looks a little 'thin' ... it is alu tho ...

It depends on what servo you have, there are 3 sizes of hhorns, futaba, hitec and jr. I think thats it. That looks like the one I have for steering, HPI savage25, gave me the link in a thread in here somewhere.

DOH! I should have been more specific ... its a alu HiTec horn that I'm thinking about buying for my HiTec 645MG. This is on my Savage steering duties at the mo ... hmm, I may buy this one if your using it as well ...

Thats the same one I use on my steering servo. Its worked great so far.

The Hitec one works fine. I use it for my steering for almost a year now and havnt had any problems with it.
