Which tires with maximizers?

So I was just in my lhs and found they sell maximizer beadlocks for $26 a pair. I'm getting the white 17mm locks but don't know what tire or off set to run. will the 1/2 off set negatively affect my steering other than trying to flip over?

Well most like the offsets to help with flipping over when turning. It does decrease the turning radius though. I think most racers go for the offsets?
I myself want some Maximizers one day and I plan on putting these on them.
