Hi guys, I'm from South Africa, here the lhs is extremely expensive so I mostly buy online, currently I get from amazon and it takes months if ever and here and there from aliexpress, I have also used dollar hobby and also take months if ever to get here, plus all stock stuff, no hopups or anything. Are there other international sites that I could use?

Yes, some vendors to ship to S/A just trying to get a bunch of sites, never a bad idea to shop around from place to place to compare. Thanks

haha wow that is impressive that you know that, yes they are in cape town and i have used them, compared to international prices they are OK , but here there is hardly a hopup in sight! For example, bullet proof diff, unavailable, after market things like hardened knuckles are nearly a $100 just for a pair! Mills like the 5.9 are over $300 , it is extremely expensive, my firestorm has taken me a year to build because getting the parts here are high and availability is very poor. But WoodiE, thanks for the help!

If you were a business man I'd say there's a pretty good opening out there for parts sales/ distribution then. Someone could make a bit of money if done right. How is the RC hobby out there, community wise?

Its staring to get going here, a few tracks and stuff but mostly electric the nitro scene is not so big that i know of, when I go bashing there is nobody else, cool sometime but always better if there were more ppl around learning from each other, the shipping from other countries I think is what's keeping it small at the moment, I've had major headaches in that dept. I would love to open a business in my area but the lhs here has already put most ppl off, never has nitro ( 20%) never has spares and not very knowledgeable
