Not really sure yet, want to do a custom buggy build of some sort. Or a 5ivet or b.

After seeing this build I can't wait to see your next one.

Thanks man, I actually have a mtxl already that has a lot into it already. Has a obr 34cc stroker in it, victory big bore pipe, servos, braces etc. I love that thing, it's a beast.

Even with a eye watering list of upgrades, you might just edge out enough to by a new stock 5B/T

Not the best deal for you IMO, but it all depends on were you "RC" your trucks. Id keep the savage seeing as you already got a badass 1/5

I'm selling my 5b AKA that damb loud thing everyone I know hates. Its just too heavy and low, also bad for jumping without breaking.

Yea so far it's just a thought. I am leaning towards keeping it just because I do like it and it's easier to tote around and drive anywhere and just a good all around basher. I'm not set on the 5b, I kind of want a buggy such as a dbxl but still looking around. Not sure what to really ask for it or where to start if I do sell it.

For the time and money you have in it, you'd be lucky to see half that when selling it.

I sold my 5B SS a few years back for $650 shipped. The only thing I didn't include was a servo and receiver. I bought the kit new and put it together. Had a $120 scorpion shorty chassis, RPM arms, 2 sets of aftermarket wheels/tires, engine cooling filter system (tired of grass clogging it up). I drove it probably 6 tanks in the 2 years I had it, probably had around $1400 into it... maybe a bit more.

Granted, yours has a lot of good stuff on it, but odds are, you would be better off to keep it. These things are only worth what someone wants to pay for it. With HPI on the fence of parts support, at the very least, you may want to wait until they start releasing parts again more readily before trying to sell it.

20180305_192111.webp Yea, it sucks like anything your lucky to get half what you put in it. My last one I sold it, and made enough to buy my mtxl. This truck is way nicer than my last savage, but as you said it's all what someone is willing to pay. I may say screw it and just keep it, but as always if someone made a good offer is sell it lol. Only thing I'm really attached to is my mtxl, I have way to much in that already and could never make my money back. Plus it's sweet lol, I just swapped in my OBR 34cc stroker in it tonight and did 2 break in tanks tonight. Won't have time until this weekend though to do the rest and tear some dirt up.20180305_192021.webp 20180305_192055.webp 20180305_192037.webp

I hear that. I was kind of the same way when I sold my 5B. It literally sat on a shelf for 2 years unused. I was willing to let it go for less than 1/2 just to open up the shelf. Which I later filled with a couple revo's. lol
