What titanium parts.

Hi. I am desiging lots of parts to be mad ein titanium and was wondering what savage owners would want made titanium. I have started with tvp, engine plate, mid tank plate and skid plate in various forms. What else is needed or wanted to be that strong?

Yes was thinking that but a little harder to manufacture with the holes on the ends. Will look into it though. Another forum eminded me to warn you that all ttanium parts will be very expensive.

No because it is strong you can take away alot of the material. It has the highest strength to weight ratio of any material.

tranny gears.


i want to see a tranny with 2-speed titanium gears that will hold up to 4 or 5s lipos.

I have to say tranny gears aswell! I use carbon fiber for the rest...

I agree with tranny gears and maybe pinion/spur made out of Ti

FlexTek use to make arms from Ti however metal arms have a tendency to rip your truck to shreds so i don't think that many people would buy them

But people used those arms to use big bore shocks. That just means I need to design them well and they need to build there truck appropriately.
