What macs pipe?

I've noticed some people running macs pipes, and wondered what size you run and if they outperform a 086 or other pipes. I was wondering if the pipe for the .19-.35 sized motor is too long or if it did not have enough backpressure for the tank. Also, do you cut the pipe, because I know with boats you cut them to gain rpm or torque, or do they run good where they are at on a F4.6.
