I run the THS 8025 seems to be a great combo , or i hear the buku is a good choice as well . I'm also running a ab stage 2 mod . I have great tork & top end with the THS , gearing also plays into performance.

I looked at the jp-3 looks like its designed for left side mount rather than the right side as on the savage..anyone have this issue?

I'm using a JP-4. I had to make a hanger wire for it but other than that it fits well.

Ive had great luck with a JP3 on that engine. Buku, JP4, and a cvec (assuming you can get one of ebay) are all great.

I miss my black Cvec for the savy but I just picked up a silver one on ebay. Happy hunting if you go down that road. They are awesome and worth it!

I to run a JP4 but on my Truggy and love it. Wow did it make a nice difference. I have heard great things locally about the Cvec. I wish I would have purchased one from the LHS when they had it. Hard to find anymore.

I agree man! I use JP2 to 4s and they are just simply awesome! They really can make a huge difference in an engine. Most people think that a pipe is a pipe and the gains of a properly matched pipe to engine is all bogus. It really isnt.

I just picked up a silver Savage CVec and a Jato CVec. You can find them on ebay but they are not common. The moment I find the hard coated black savage CVec then I am snagging that.

Since CVec is no longer around noone looks for them. I got my Jato pipe for 7 bucks this week.I paid more for the OS manifold (its OS after all...nice but it will sock you in the wallet) by 3 or 4 times than the pipe. If they were still in production then it would not have been that way.

If you want one... just keep a eye out and be patient. I get a ton of deals off of that principal.

hay gays i have a k5.9 hpi engine on my savy and i wonder if the old pipe (the 4.6 pipe) do works good with the 5.9 one ??????????
any one can help me????

Try it and see if you like how it performs. Will it work? Yes. But every pipe affects a engine differently and will help low, mid, or high range.

i'v tryed it and it works but the engine didn't give it's all power i'v tuned it as much as i can but the pipe didn't work good with this engine i have to by a new pipe soon................
thank's for helping me squirrel
