i checked em out. they have some insane specs, but when it came down to it, there are some better-priced servos out there that give you around 200/.10 which is right in the sweet spot.

the 7950 was on back-order when i made the thread below & the 7940 wasnt release.

you need to get your hump-pack up to 7.2v to unleash the full potential of the servos.

prices seem a little off in the thread i made, got them off a website tho.

These servos are high voltage so wouldn't he might as well run a LiPo pack?

imo, yes. a LiPo Rx pack.

you could also achieve that voltage with some b/l ESC's that require the use of an external/adjustable BEC so you could dial in your voltage to 7.4v.

this is not the case with the Flux ESC as the BEC is built in, not adjustable and factory set to less than 6v.

alex is a track racer so imo he wants to lean more toward speed than torque.

that being said if it were me, id choose the 2nd of the two. but for the money, i chose this, check out the price & specs http://www.amainhobbies.com/product...3/n/Ace-R-C-DS1015-Super-Torque-Digital-Servo

don't say it b/r.

Thanks for all the advice guys. Can't check the links as I am on the cell. The radio will be a Dx3s as it comes with the truggy I am getting.

Alex, I run the 9100T for my steering.....Fast but would like faster but then again I came from a 645mg and it was sloooow so the 9100T was a huge improvement. For speed I would go with the 9100S.

Awesome servos IMO and plus, I am a JR fan so that's even better for me.

I am running the jr 590 for steering so anything is better than that wish I had something better but don't want to spend money on something till I get the radio.
