What clutch to get..

so, i have decided to get a modded Picco .28 from Extream, but i since i am building my car from scratch, what clutch pices should i get? gearing etc? for my first trial runs?

i have been looking at a few kits. is the HPI stock flywheel good to work with? or is there a better "kit" out there?

ive heard max life clutch shoes with muegen 1.0 springs. and as for the gears it really depends onwat you want to do and wat kind of surface,i hope this helps.

ducky I'm runnin the nova aluminum with mugen 1.0's on with a stock hpi flywheel on a modded picco & am very happy with the set up.

i use the max life shoes, and mugen 1.0 springs as well and the hold up nice. not a bad price either. all my trucks use stock flywheel too. for gearing on a modded picco id start with a 17 or 18 but its all up to you bud what you want from it.

anyone have a link to a complete kit with mugen springs? or should i just piece it together?

I have the exact clutch setup as everyone suggested. Works very nice for me. Stock flywheel is fine to use.

Unfortunately you have to buy everything separate.

I've heard lots of good reviews on the Fioroni clutches. I've also had a great time with centax clutches. May want to try them.

This is a 3 shoe alloy 1.0 mugan spring with same gearing note wheelies are a thing of the past.. All in what you want and pay for.. above clutch is superior to any 3 shoe but I don't what wheelies on this truck.. exclamation at the end of this vid is me hitting a concrete wall... sorry for the lil prayer ...

ya id like to get a good clutch. i don't mind spending the money, but i don't want to have to mess with engine mounts etc, if i don't have too. but ill work that out when i get the extream moded .28 picco. 🙂 thanks for the vids bank.

I use the mugen 1.0 spring and the mugen composite clutch and to me they last longer than anything else that I've tried.
