Want to change to 2.4ghz

I have a Savage 25 with 27.195am tx & receiver. Want to switch it to 2.4ghz. What I needed to know is, do I need to keep the on/off switch that goes to the receiver. If so does it plug into the bind slot on the 2.4ghz receiver. Just wanted to make sure

You can use the switch, but it will plug into the batt slot on the receiver... the bind slot is only for binding as far as i am aware....

some rx's come with a switch, too. but jam is correct, the bind port is only for binding.
