Very Frustrated.

I bought a brand new savage about a week ago. Break-in went great, so about the 8th tank it didnt want to start. I take it to the LHS and the guy tells me it has no compression. I said "no compression, i didnt touch a needle"?. got it back from HPI and they say the same thing. I am at the verge of taking it in the back yard and putting a couple 12gauge deer slugs threw it:axed:. PLEASE HELP.

did you check the head bolts make sure they were tight. if there loose that could cause air leak and no compression .

Personally on all new engines before and after break in i pull them apart and check things out then seal it up with RTV high temp copper. No leaks = a nice happy engine. I'd recommend doing this and checking the whole thing over.

have you tried a new glow plug in it . i have had a glowplug go bad and cause the symptoms of no compression. the darned thing still lit up when place in the ignitor to
