Does a 2.4ghz radio make a real difference and if so how?

if I'm not mistaking the 2.4ghz radio & receiver have a built in FS =/

I'm still running the stock radio & receiver. LOL

Going to 2.4ghz was the best upgrade I made on my Savage, I'll never use a standard radio again.

yeah & you're also gonna love how it gets rid of the big metal Tx antenna & shortens up the Rx.

Yep, I love this, when my son was bashing using the stock radio with the mile long Tx antenna he would always point the radio down at the ground when running to the Sav to flip it back on its feet, needless to say he was bending/snapping an antenna at least every other bash lol :doh: Good thing they're dirt cheap on the bay.

Love the stubby Rx antenna too

I remember having to set trim points every bash too because the trim dials on the stock radio would always get moved travelling to the bash site etc, major PITA Love the digital trim. Set it 'n' forget.

Real easy to make 'on the fly' trim adjustments as well, I can easily trim while keeping all control of the truck.

Don't forget no crystals either. Much easier when going to the track.
