I like the look of the flm tvps and Some of the asiatess, integy, and alza parts. But I gotta tell you I've cracked 1 tvp in 8+ yrs of bashing with now 9 savages. A few years ago I just started piecing them together so I wouldn't have so many unused duplicate spares. For me that's been the most practical way to get the truck the way I want it. I usually end up selling them and like the therapy of building another one. All said to say by the time you load one down with aftermarket bling it could be pretty heavy leaving your pocket pretty light and your powerplant working harder. Am I overthinking this or just an old cheap fart? I could have posted this in all varieties of the savage but this is the base for the rest imo.

I agree. Over spending on parts that give little to no benefit and some that are actually a detriment seems like an idiotic idea for a basher RC. Aside from parts that scream needing upgrades, I simply replace/ upgrade as parts break.

Thanks X I'm not knocking shelf queen eye candy but as you pointed out bashers need to be bashed. The only savage I haven't sold is the twin which as we all know is more SHOW than go but I'm a gear head. The sound and challenges of getting them dialed is too much fun for a grown man to describe to anyone not in the know. I guess that why I hang out here. Good company

Speaking of which, I was meaning to ask you to post up some more pics of that twin engine savage you have in your avatar pic. They were quite the novelty years ago, though as you pointed out more show than go and you never see them anymore. I still remember HB's twinzilla kit.
