Two red and black wire harnesses

Hello, I'm new to the savage life I just recently bought my first XL. I was going through the items in the box and came across two different, two wire harnesses, for lack of a better word.

Those are the two wires, looking through the manuals I'd assume they are to charge the hump pack for the trucks electronics, but my truck didn't come with a charger with the correct connection for that. Only a big connection for the roto-start battery. I guess I need to buy a seperate charger for the truck battery?

But doesn't mention a second charger in the "included" page.
Am I missing something here?

First off, welcome to the site savagekid93!

I use an adapter for mine. Something like the following:

However the XL shows a charger for that as a standard part. Curious that you say it isn't included.

Yea I didn't see it anywhere, I defiantly didn't get it with any of my packages in the box... I wonder why, my manual only lists the one charger.



With that adapter, would that charger I have be ok to charge that hump pack?

yea, they look like the adapters to charge the hump pack. but it is strange that u didn't get an adapter for the charger.

if u go to ur local hobby shop, or online, u should be able to get an adapter for a couple of bucks. they're pretty cheap( the one that x linked is perfect)

and yes, u could use that charger with the hump pack
