here it is with a body, wow is this thing long, I see now I will have to build a cage around the rear end, not a big deal though, just have to get more Alum. for this prodject, now I am really exciteed to finish this tired of everyone having fun but be :stressed:

I was thinking the same thing, there will be vids, as soon as I get this done, hopefully soon but the money is holding me back

Finelly figured out the video on my phone, just a vid of it on the work bench, still need parts to get it running, flywheel & clutch shoes, outer drive hubs, only ones I haven't upgraded yet, (anyone know where I can get the HD ones cant seem to find them in the HD form,) & wheels & tires, then I can get some videos of it in action, CAN'T WAIT, will be running just the single engine till incomtax then I will be getting two engines for this..

looks good, that thing is long what is on the front bumper, what size hubs u got on that

thats a video camera on the front but I am looking into getting another one, the one on the front of the truck dosent have sound, the hubs are 14 but I need new ones and depending on the rims I get will determin that size 14 - 17, I need the outdrive cups seen them on ebay but I want to get the HD ones if there is any

i got a set of stock rims and tires with the hubs glued in then because 2 stripped on me but they still work if u want them tell me i run 17mm now

And i am still looking for that alum for u i didnt forget went back to nj last weekend to see fam so didnt have a chance to go to the trailer store

ok what do you want for the rims, that would save me some money for now and be able to get it out sooner

pm me your info or if u are in the lancaster are at all we can meet up,i don't want any money because they are used and on ok shape u got anything u want to let go for a savage

Ok getting closer,, just finished rear bumper brace really stiffened it up, now I just need to get some thicker plating to remake the the servo mount upper & lower, then it should be able to take some abuse and when I finish this thing I will put it through some to see what happens, and what if anything brakes I will refab to make it better..

I was board so I took a small vid of how the steering & throtle works, the left engine is one of the blown ones and just there to keep the linkages from binding, as soon as I get some tires & fuel I will be beating this thing to see how well it works.

That truck looks awsome when you get it done I would realy like to see some pics and vids!

there will be lots of pics and vids, but there wont be two running engins till incomtax time probably gonna cost me around $400.00 for them..

I hear that we all wait for that time of year to buy our good toys or parts for them

hey jay that is a bad *** truck, when u get it running we should get together and bash

That looks sweet!!! With the steering working like that it should spin round real quick. Good looking fab work too. I got some Big tires all 14mm I'm intrested in getting rid of.

Was digging through all my parts today and thought I woud see what was with the engines I had in the junk pile, was trying to remember what really happened that awefull day I foasted the one, remember that when I took it apart the crank was destroyed and the fan/terbine was also gone and when I put my backup in it was also throwing a fit so I put it in the junk pile also cuz I was so frustrated, today went through trying to think only problem with the backup engine was cracked piston, so I combined what I had to make one has good compresion and clean, just have to get a fan/terbine & pullstart and that one should run :Xfingers: then ofcorse need to get another 3 pinflywheel shoes and another CB, so I really think this is on its way again :Xfingers: ,,,, just thought I would share my good news of the day, dosent happen to often,,..,,..
Thanks for listening to ramble on..

Ok now I think its ready, the rear steering servo is very well inclosed & protected, as soon as I get the tires & fuel I will be taking it out to see how it works, should be getting everything by the end of next week, I am ready to put this thing through some abuse, I want to make sure the rear steering can handle what ever I put it through, I think as for turning it shouldent be to bad with having the extended chassis, just want to make sure it will take the jumps and such,, don't see why it wouldent being the same components as the front, :Xfingers:

Ok everyone here is the finished product, well almost finished just need pullstart, flywheel, shoes, and bell for second engine,, but all in all its finished with a special thanks to a good and kind member that donated a set of wheels for my prodject, Thanks Chris :resp: ,, here is some pic's so you can see the size of this thing it is mamoth,, well the boys had to get into the one pic and as a referance of size the gray & white cat is around 15-16 lb's, so now Fri. or Mon. I will be getting fuel so I can run this thing and yes I will be getting som vid's so you all can see this in action, but will only be running one engine at this time, the second won't be running till after Christmas, priorites first, kids have to have a good Christmas.
So thanks to all everyone has good ideas and comments, & Chris thanks for the help,.,.,.,.

Looks Killer man good job there!Cant wait to see it in action! And don't we qualify as kids with our toys??lol I hope so because I need Santa to give me parts and /or $$$ for my toy!
Dave

Yes Dave we do qualify as kids just big kids with expensive toys,, & your not the only one that needs Santa to bring some parts, lol,, cuz if santa dosent bring me anything I won't be getting any cuz our money is very limited this yr. the girlfriend has been running my truck back & forth to work since the engine went in the car & that thing isent the easiest on gas, so Y does everything bad happen around the holidays,.,.,.,. anyways yeah I will be getting vids of this that way everyone can see how this works and acts with the extended chassis and rear steering,, thanks Jay..

LOL I hear you on that!Same here as well with some little $ problems around the holidays but like you said little kids first then us big kids.Too bad your so far away I would help out on your full sized car problems if you needed it.Dave

Thanks Dave, everyone here is awsome, the car I don't know if it is worth fixing, well it is worth it but those engines are junk,,, 2000 Intrepid 2.7 they were designed very bad internal waterpump, duh, where did they think the water would go when it went bad,,, thats how I got this car, had family that worked at dodge dealership and picked it up for $300 put $1800 to get fixed for bad waterpump,, that whiped out the bearings & bent 2 valves now I'm sure the bearings are gone again all the water/antafreeze is in the oil..
