well i have an LRP .28 spec 3 mill and a dynimite 086 tuned pipe, from reading on this forum and rcuniverce forum I'm getting the hint i may have chosen the wrong pipe for what I'm looking to get out of my lrp.

what I'm getting is that the 086 pipes, are pretty much for like the lrp .30 (Speed). cause I'm not getting wheelies from my savage and I'm starting to think that its not my tune or the gearing (18/47) or the motor or my fuel, that maybe my tunned pipe is the problem, cause they say that the 086 pipe is for speed (high end) and the 053 is for torque (low end which is what I'm after) am i miss understanded what iv read? iv got no get up and go i have to feather it or she dies, and if i lean it out anymore, my temps go through the roof.

I'm running between 230 and 240 with my tune as is, but still have to feather it or she dies, I'm using byrons gen 2 30% fuel and i will be having an odonnell monster truck plug in there (medium heat). so could this be my problem? my 086 pipe that is or is it I'm just going to have to try a 053 pipe and see if it fixes my problem, or could i have another problem that I'm not seeing? sorry for the long post but its getting frustating:stressed: and would like to start just driving and not messing with the needles all the time. if theres more info you need or i left something out let me know and i will get it to you if it will help my problem. thanks

Well feathering to keep it running sounds more like tunning then pipe selection! As far as wheelies IMO I don't think the pipe will keep you from doing wheelies. It sound like the lsn is out. Also tighten the slipper nut to almost tight. Hope it helps. Good luck!

depending on how your low speed is set and how tight the slipper is has an effect on wheelies
