Then i put on savage X lower arms and kept the SS adjustable uper arms. Also i put on rear turn buckle eleminators.

Then i put on Twisted Toys 1" ext lcg tvp's and skid plate and one piece engine mount.

Here is a better pic of the TT one piece engine mount.

100_4942.jpg

Then i sealed the plastic skid plate to the aluminum skid plate support to keep out dirt from getting into the ring and pinion gear.

Here is a pic of the TT rear dog bone next to the factory bone.

Then i put a ritter pipe on it. I don't know much about these pipes but I'm going to find out. LOL

100_4962.jpg

Then i put the shocks with 35wt oil in them on the shock towers with spacers.

100_4965.jpg

And then bolt on some wheels and put on some zip ties and new fuel line. And I'm done!!! No test drive today because its raining here in Florida....well its pouring really.

NICE work man. That looks AWESOME. I have heard good things about the ritter pipe though i have not seen it in person.

Thanks Guys!!!!

Let me just say the truck was worth every penny i put into it. This set up is working great. The pipe is awsome. It is a little heavy but it makes up for it in performance. It lets the motor reach its full power all through thr rpm. I also have my second savage... The X Basher. Here is a few pics of that bad boy also. I just need to get some lst shocks for it to complete it.

And what bodies are you using on the extended chassis Sav? How do they fit? Did you have to modify the mounting posts? or just cut new holes? How about the X roll bar.. need to modify for that too? Looks very cool, and I'm sure it runs great, I'd just love to see some pics with the body (s) on it.
