trany??

I was driving my savage ss 4.6 good like nothing then it just stoped moving reved up high, so i cut it off and my spur gear was missing like 3 theeft and when i give it gas it doesn't move.any one gotany ideas i might just get a 3 speed or heavy duty 2 speed does a 3 speed make that big of a diff...

how long have u had it? is it a new truck? if so it could be that the gear mesh is incorrect if u think it might be that check out hpi racing's website theres a gear mesh video there to help with setting the mesh right other then that I'm not sure as I'm fairly new to this and am learning as i go! but i hope this helps! I'm sure other people will post some advice as well that maybe have a little more knowledge then me so hang tight and I'm sure u will get the help u need on this forum as its great for getting advice! as far as your question about the three speed yes from what i hear it does make a difference, with the extra gear u get alot more speed and i've heard the 3 speed shifts better but i don't have it on my truck yet but its one thing I'm definately interested in

It just sounds like you stripped you spur gear.(Cheap)
You have to replace it and install it correctly.

i opened my trany and found the little 2 screws that holds the gears together had broke off,well just one and that the head of the screw rubed the tranny housing and the plastic got stuck in the gears.thats just sucks.
