The hump pack and OFNA throttle mod and tuned pipe are the first I would think.
My personal favorite has been going to a digital radio and receiver and not dealing with crystals anymore.

1.) Hump pack (More power to servos and rechargable)
2.) HT Steering servo & move SF-2 to Throttle/Brake (Better steering response and holds path better, also more servo power to throttle/brake) or go both Digital
3.) Ofna Throttle linkage (Easier/More adjustments, better control)
4.) Mid-tank mod (Solves leaning issues and holds a tune better threw tank)
5.) 3 speed (10% more low end, 10% more speed, and you can go threw the power band 3 times instead of 2)
6.) Alum Shoes (Clutch Grip also helps keep Clutch cool because less slip)
7.) Pipe (Once again More power you can never have enought)
8.) Steering bearings (Better steering response and accuracy)
9.) Vented CB (More Grip because CB's colder)
10.) Vented Flywheel (Helps with #9)
11.) LST Shocks (Much better dampening, better ride controle and ride hight adjustments)
12.) Ext LCG Chassis (More control, helps keep the wheels on the ground from all that power) preferably PlatinumRCProducts
13.) Skid Plate (Protects Brakes and Transmission)
14.) Cross Braces (Support to the chassis)
