I went to begin reassembling my racer, and seem to have misplaced one of my damn Nova shock towers!!!

was going to throw the front and rear ends back together, then take the chassis and fab my CF one, plus convert my custom midtank and servo mounts to CF as well...

in case you all have forgotten (since my old links seem to have died) here are some pics to jog your memory...plus you can CLEARLY see that I USED to have 2 Nova towers :duh: also, the tires and wheels (crash, you should recognise these) are not slated for the racer, as they're too big and heavy...

still no CF cut yet, but am feeling a bit more motivated, and hope to have something done in the near future (larsen's progress has pretty much guilted me into action...LOL) and rather than dredge up the old thread, I thought I'd start a new one with working picture links, etc...

Nice looking RC. I don't think I have seen that before. Is that a 1:5 servo? Gotta love that custom wheey bar with shock. Good touch

thats probabally the coolest wheelie bar i've sen yet and should absorb the bumps instead of your truck wobbiling and crashing!!! great work!!!

yeah, it's a 1/5 scale servo...this way, I say "turn" and the truck says "Sir! Yes sir!!"

the wheelie bar was a trial and error design that I remember seeing somewhere else, although I can't recall where...I haven't run it yet, but it should work pretty sweet...

as to the wheels and tires, here's a clue:

wat are the old wheels and tires u have on it originally would be great for me as am always on the beach

UPDATE!!!

still haven't found the missing shock tower, but have found a better solution...crzy-svg-usr has graciously agreed to sell me these!!

once they are on hand, I'll be whipping up a new wing-mount, and then mocking it back up again, with more of the finished parts on it...

if you think this is taking forever, you ought to try being on this end of things...LOL I wanna go break the motor in!!!
