ok so i have just baught my axial .28 1s and there is lots of things to come so stay tuned😛 here are the first pics


#1 pic: this is what it looked like when i first baught it (second hand) the poor savvy needed a home so i took her under my wing 😛, as u can see it had a HB .46 mill, it ran like a sack of $#^% so as a result... well look at pic #2

#2 pic: this is the all new axial .28 1s that i put in, to get it to fit i had to do a fair bit of mucking around, had to get a new flywheel, new clutchbell and get the stock engine mount (which i didnt have coz i baught it second hand)

#3 pic: as you would imagine, i need to geta new exhaust for this axial, but in the meantime i made this one fit (ill have a O.S tuned pipe in about 3 weeks) so i took to the streets to test out my new mill

#4 ok so that exhaust system didnt work very well, the manifold got a monster leak and it wasnt running very well so this is the new modified version (remember its only temporary) withthe exhaust in this position, the manifold sits true to the block and shouldnt come off this time (unfortunatly i wont be able to use my shell lol)

ok heres another of my little mods, i love doing useless DIY modifcations haha its so fun! found an old computer speaker and thaught id use the grille of it

The pipe up in the air like that will keep the excess oil from being able to drain out.
But once you get the new pipe mounted properly it should be okay.
Nice looking truck BTW. Very colorful.

yeh haha like i said its only temporary ill be getting a o.s pipe for it (they don't sell dynamite pipes in aus), and yeh it is nice and colorful, my mates keep calling it the clown car haha.

been looking into my next upgrade, it is kinda needed too.. a nubz conversion set, my wheels keep stripping and eventually the hex peices strip too, i think its from too much power from the axial big block 😛 but the nubz conversion should stop that, also the tires a small and light wich should dramaticly increase my trucks speed and agility and put less stress on my drivetrain.

pics on my project will keep on coming, the nex tones will be in a few weeks when i get my new pipe, in the meantim heres a pic of me and my mates MT2 at the end of a days bashing (my day ended early from the wheel falling off haha

ok so the pic explained: that is my mates MT2 18ss+ it is very fast.. i mean really fast, however not as fast as my savage of course, or any savage for that matter, it was a kit car and he was soo excited about getting it into the street for a bash that he couldnt be bother painting the shell, so yeh he runs it with a clear shell haha, and even tho i was running my temporary exhaust i still managed to destroy him in a drag race 😛 once again the savage reigns supreme!

update on tomcats feral savage

ok so after a couple hundred bucks down the gurgler i have come up with this, many of the things i have i said i would get in my earlier posts, this savage is insane and absolutely shreds, i would recommend the nubz wheel conversion to anyone, they may not be as big but they make the savage so much faster, so much more agile and these tires have a habit of throwing dirt, grass, sticks, stones in every direction, my savagas handling has improved tenfold with these wheels, its is extremely fun to drive and i have no more striping of those old 8mm hex's or whatever size they were lol. the engine and pipe are awsome, this motor is great its an axial .28 spec 1s and is easy to tune and runs like a treat i have a 13 tooth clutch bee; and a 49 tooth spur gear, i know i should be running a 15 tooth, but this 13 tooth is insane for getting all 4's spinning and ripping up the ground and throwing dirt and everything else everywhere!, i am going to try get a 15 tooth soon. anywayz here are sum pics of how this rc car from hell looks, this thing is indeed the rc spawn of satan himself, if u drive it u know why, and if u get this nubz conversion set like i do u will understand, enjoy.
