i have my eye on the titanium disc brakes. but my savage has dual disc brakes so I'm not sure if i need 2 titanium discs. I'm worried 2 discs wont fit because they might be thicker than stock.

are the titanium brakes any good anyways/???

any feedback is appreciated.

honestly... your better off sticking with the 2 red carbon fiber disc .. they actually work way better than the steel break disc... ive ran both and also the single disc set up n out of them all... the dual red ones are the best imo... I'm sure other guys will jump on here n agreee or share their thoughts on it as well...

i had a feeling they were better or a hunch at least. thanks for the advice maximus. 🙂

yessir. i can NOT agree more.....i want to ask something else actually... i found 23mm extended wheel nuts on ebay..i asked the seller if they would fit on a savage and he said yes... but for some reason I'm having a hard time believing him.... i could definitely use your opinion on it if possible.....

here is the link....

You will need to run 23mm wheeles then. Basically you will need to purchse or put 23mm wheels on with 23mm hubs.

Not sure what kind of truck you have but Savages are tyically 17mm and 14mm

I would be cautiious eith integy. They are not know for making high quality parts. There are a couple items that people have not had a problem with, but for the most part, stay away.

agree.... but the wheel adapters make it wobly imo... and theres a few parts integy make ive ran n never had issues with ... rear hub carriers and the front c hubs n knuckles thats it .. other than that i wont do integy at alll...

I also run the front and rear carriers. Never had any problems. But I'm not gonna push my luck. Hear alot of negative things about integy and thier lower grade aluminum. If you are just trying to go wider, go with 1/2 offset wheels. Keep in mind also, the wider you make it with extended hubs, you put more strain on your bearings.

Wow I never though integy was that bad.... I do have 23mm wheels on big Joe proline tires.... In fact I have 23mm hex I just want to go wider. I looked for proline extended 23mm hex but can't find them anywhere. I have a savage x btw.

So thr bottom line is that they do fit?

I have to grind. 🙁. I don't have a grinder though... Thing is I don't wanna spend 100 bucks on new wheels and tires..

welll the ones i got for my nephews 23 mm wheels we had to grind slightly to get them to work smoothly with out binding against the beerings once tightend down so they wouldnt wobble .. imo.. its a pita to get them n work on them to get to fit n work right just to later on not even like them ... better offf just getting new wheels ..

New wheels means I either have to rip off the rubber off my current wheels and re glue them on the new ones. I will need glue, probably new tires to preserve the old ones and new wheels as opposed to 30 bucks. I get your point though and it's a good one, thus leaves me staring at the moon... 😛

Thanks for all the advice... I'm thinking of getting 23mm extensions actually but not the eBay link I posted....😱ther integy ones especially for savage. They cost around 35 but I'm more confident they will fit nicely because they are especially for savage. I'll show you a link ina bit
