i have to glue 8 tires and i don't know what glue to use ive read that the thick glue is the best to use because t is stronger but it it takes a while to dry so any suggestions on brand of glue and which one thick, medium or thin? and how many bottles will i need. thanks

I used zap-a-gap thin set. Its what the LHS recommended. It seems to work fine. I think the thin is easier to use because you can just roll the wheel in your hand to get the glue to cover the entire bead. So far my tires haven't come loose. One small bottle should be plenty. You only need a few drops on each side of the wheel.

use CA Medium available at most LHS around.. the Thin bond is good, but not that great.

Medium allows you some time to set everything in place before It bonds

Hey Benny I Just Glued Up A Set Of Proline With The Bowtie Tires And All I Used Was Regular Ol Super Glue From Any Store It Is Way Way Cheaper And Is Just As Good As The Tire Glue Works Just As Good!!! Just Thought I Would Let You Know 🙂

If you really want to do it right, start out with some medium to get it sarted. Once it dries go around with some thin to fill in the gaps. The thin is good for creaping into all the spots that you may have missed. This will of course take a while to dry completely.

i like rubberized CA glue, its black

it flexes a little bit instead of being brittle and holds tires to alum wheels better also
